3. Eligibility
To book driving lessons with us, you must:
- Be at least 17 years of age (or the legal driving age in your jurisdiction)
- Hold a valid provisional or full driving license
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Have parental or guardian consent if under 18 years of age
- Meet any medical or legal requirements for driving instruction
4. Booking and Payment
4.1 Booking Process
- Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or via email
- All bookings are subject to instructor availability
- We will confirm your booking via email or SMS
- You are responsible for ensuring booking details are correct
4.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
- We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash (for single lessons)
- Package deals must be paid in full before the first lesson unless on an approved payment plan
- All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
4.3 Packages and Validity
- Lesson packages must be used within the validity period stated at purchase
- Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances at our discretion
- Unused lessons may not be refunded after the expiry date
- Packages are non-transferable between students
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
5.1 Student Cancellations
- 24+ Hours Notice: Full refund or rescheduling available
- 12-24 Hours Notice: Rescheduling available, 50% cancellation fee may apply
- Less than 12 Hours: No refund, full lesson fee charged
- No-Show: Full lesson fee charged, no refund or rescheduling
Cancellations must be made via phone, email, or through your student portal.
5.2 Instructor Cancellations
If we need to cancel a lesson due to:
- Instructor Illness/Emergency: We will reschedule at no charge or provide an alternative instructor
- Vehicle Issues: Lesson will be rescheduled with no penalty
- Severe Weather: Lessons may be cancelled for safety; full refund or rescheduling available
6. Student Responsibilities
As a student, you agree to:
- Arrive on time for scheduled lessons with your valid driving license
- Wear appropriate footwear (no high heels, flip-flops, or heavy boots)
- Inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to drive
- Follow the instructor's directions and comply with the Highway Code
- Not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving
- Treat instructors and vehicles with respect
- Notify us immediately of any changes to your contact details or license status
- Not smoke, vape, eat, or drink in the vehicle without permission
7. Instructor Rights
Our instructors have the right to:
- Refuse or terminate a lesson if the student is unfit to drive (e.g., under the influence)
- End a lesson early if weather or road conditions become unsafe
- Refuse service to students who are abusive, threatening, or disrespectful
- Take control of the vehicle at any time for safety reasons
- Recommend postponing a driving test if the student is not ready
No refund will be provided for lessons terminated due to student behavior or unfitness to drive.
8. Insurance and Liability
8.1 Insurance Coverage
- All our vehicles are fully insured for driving instruction purposes
- Students are covered under our insurance policy during lessons
- Insurance covers third-party liability and accidental damage
8.2 Excess and Damages
- Students may be liable for insurance excess in case of accidents caused by negligence or reckless behavior
- Typical excess amounts range from £250-£500 depending on circumstances
- Deliberate damage to the vehicle will result in full repair costs being charged to the student
8.3 Limitation of Liability
Our Driving School is not liable for:
- Failure to pass a driving test
- Delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
- Personal belongings left in vehicles
- Indirect or consequential losses
9. Driving Test
- Students are responsible for booking and paying for their own driving tests with the DVSA
- We can assist with test booking upon request
- Vehicle hire for tests is available at an additional fee
- Pre-test lessons are recommended but not mandatory
- We reserve the right to refuse vehicle hire if we believe the student is not test-ready
- Test cancellation charges apply according to DVSA rules
10. Data Protection and Privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to:
- Collection of personal information necessary for providing driving instruction
- Storage of lesson records and progress reports

13. Refund Policy
- Cooling-Off Period: 14-day cooling-off period for online bookings under Consumer Contracts Regulations (no lessons taken)
- Package Refunds: Unused lessons from packages may be refunded within the validity period, subject to a 10% administration fee
- No Refunds: No refunds for missed lessons without proper notice (see Cancellation Policy)
- Processing Time: Refunds processed within 14 days of approval
14. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if:
- You breach these Terms of Service
- You engage in abusive or threatening behavior toward our staff
- You provide false information or misrepresent your identity
- You fail to pay for services rendered
- Your driving license is suspended or revoked
In such cases, no refund will be provided for unused lessons or packages.
